Succotash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 medium onions, chopped
    3 tomatoes, chopped
    3 ears corn, cut off cob
    1 c. okra, sliced
    salt
    pepper
    pinch of sugar
Preparation
    Saute the onion and corn in a saucepan with a little butter or bacon fat.
    Add the tomatoes and the okra; cover with water.
    Add salt, pepper and a pinch of sugar.
    Let simmer an hour.
