Mom'S Sunday Beef - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 to 6 lb. eye roast
    potatoes
    peas
    1/4 flour
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
Preparation
    Sear roast.
    (Place meat on hot frypan and quickly turn as meat browns immediately.)
    Place roast on rack in roasting pan. Sprinkle with salt, pepper and 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder.
    Roast in preheated 325\u00b0 oven for 25 minutes per pound until center of roast is 160\u00b0.
    Serve with potatoes, peas and homemade gravy.
