Soft Pretzels - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. dry yeast
    1 1/2 c. warm water
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    4 c. all-purpose flour
    1 egg, beaten
    coarse salt
Preparation
    In a large bowl, dissolve yeast in water.
    Add the sugar, salt and enough flour to make a soft dough.
    Turn onto a floured surface; knead until smooth and elastic (about 6 to 8 minutes). Pinch off about 2 tablespoons dough for each pretzel.
    Shape as desired and place on greased baking sheets.
    Brush with egg; sprinkle with salt.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 for 15 minutes, or until golden brown.
    Cool on a wire rack.
