Stuffed Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 to 6 cube steaks
    1/2 pkg. seasoned stuffing mix
    1 stalk celery, chopped
    1 onion, chopped
    1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
    2 Tbsp. bacon fat
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1/2 can water
Preparation
    Mix stuffing mix, celery and onion with enough hot water to make it quite moist but not soggy.
    Spread on steaks and roll up. Fasten with toothpicks.
    Brown all over with fat.
    Combine cream of mushroom soup, dry onion soup and 1/2 cup of water in bowl. Add to the steaks in frying pan, being sure to scrape brown drippings from bottom; simmer, covered, about 2 hours.
    Baste and then turn occasionally.
