Overnight Vegetable Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (No. 2) can peas, drained
    1 (No. 2) can French-style beans, drained
    1 (No. 2) can whole kernel corn, drained
    1 c. celery, diced
    1/2 c. green pepper, diced
    1 medium onion, diced
    1 (2 oz.) jar pimentos, chopped
    salt to taste
    1 1/2 c. white sugar
    1 c. vinegar
    1/2 c. salad oil
    2 tsp. water
    1/2 tsp. paprika
Preparation
    Put all vegetables into a large container with a lid that seals.
    Combine sugar, vinegar, oil, water and paprika; mix until sugar is dissolved.
    Pour liquid over vegetables.
    Chill for 24 hours.
