Ingredients

English muffins (Thomas' are best)
pizza sauce, spaghetti sauce or, in summer, thick slices of fresh tomatoes
Mozzarella cheese, grated (Monterey Jack is also good)
whatever else you like on your pizza (onions, peppers, mushrooms, sausage, pepperoni, etc.)
Preparation

Split muffins and toast briefly in toaster, just enough to dry them a bit, then arrange on baking sheet (broiler-proof) as many as you need.
Put about a tablespoon of sauce on each muffin half; sprinkle with cheese and other ingredients.
Put in boiler until cheese is melted and sauce is bubbling.
