Strawberry Shortcake Ala Greg - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 qt. sliced strawberries
1/4 c. sugar
1 prepared angel food cake
1 small pkg. strawberry flavored gelatin
1 c. boiling water
1 (8 oz.) container Cool Whip

Preparation

Mix strawberries and sugar.
Place in refrigerator for at least one hour.
Tear angel food cake into small pieces and place in an 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan; set aside.
Add gelatin to boiling water and stir for 2 minutes.
