Shepherd'S Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. potatoes
1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
1 red pepper or green
1 yellow onion
1 clove garlic
3 Tbsp. chopped parsley
milk and butter (for potatoes)
2 Tbsp. vinegar
dash of nutmeg
grated Cheddar or other cheese
celery stalk (optional)
10 oz. fresh green beans or frozen peas (optional)
Preparation

Peel potatoes and cook until tender.
Peel and chop onion.
Cut pepper into strips.
Slice green beans.
Dice celery.
Finely chop garlic.
Mix all together with parsley.
In large skillet, brown ground meat and drain.
Add vegetables and vinegar to meat; cook few minutes.
Mash potatoes, nutmeg, milk and butter.
Beat until light and fluffy.
Put meat and vegetables in lightly greased 8 x 12-inch dish.
Top with potatoes.
Sprinkle cheese on top.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes or until potatoes are light brown.
Takes about 90 minutes start to stop.
