Spanish Rice Pronto - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/3 c. (or 5 oz. pkg.) Minute rice
1/4 c. fat
2 cans (8 oz. each) tomato sauce
1 medium onion, thinly sliced
1/2 medium green pepper, diced
1 3/4 c. hot water
1 tsp. salt
dash of pepper
1 tsp. prepared mustard (optional)
Preparation

Melt fat in skillet.
Add onion, green pepper and Minute rice (right from the package).
Stir over high heat until lightly browned.
Add water, tomato sauce and seasoning.
Mix well.
Bring quickly to a boil.
Cover tightly and simmer 10 minutes.
Serve it steaming, and sit back for applause from four muchos happy people.
