Red Velvet Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. butter
    4 eggs
    1 Tbsp. cocoa
    1 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. soda
    2 1/2 c. cake flour
    1 c. buttermilk
    2 (1 oz.) bottles red food coloring
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream sugar and butter.
    Add
    eggs,
    beat
    until fluffy. Make paste of cocoa and vinegar and add to mixture.
    Sift salt, soda and flour together;
    add alternately with buttermilk.
    Add vanilla and red food
    coloring.
    Makes
    three
    9-inch
    layers. Bake at 350\u00b0.
    Cool layers before icing.
