Whipping Cream Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or margarine, softened
    3 c. sugar
    6 eggs
    3 c. sifted cake flour
    1 c. whipping cream
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation
    Cream butter.
    Gradually add sugar, beating well at medium speed of electric mixer.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition.
    Add flour to creamed mixture, alternately with whipped cream, beginning and ending with flour.
    Mix just until blended after each addition.
    Stir in flavoring.
    Pour batter into a greased and floured 10-inch tube pan.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 30 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted near center comes out clean.
    Cool in pan 10 to 15 minutes.
    Remove from pan and cool on a wire rack.
