Christmas Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 eggs, beaten
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. vanilla
    pinch of salt
    1 lb. pecan nuts, chopped coarse
    1 lb. pitted dates, chopped coarse
    1 large jar maraschino cherries, drained and cut in half
Preparation
    Bake in 2 bread box pans that have been greased at 300\u00b0 about 1 hour.
