Smothered Corn And Chicken - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 fryer, cut into pieces (as for frying)
salt
cayenne pepper
black pepper
vegetable oil
6 ears fresh corn
1 c. chopped onions
1 pod garlic, minced
1/2 c. chopped bell pepper
3 medium tomatoes, peeled and chopped
chicken broth
Preparation

Season chicken pieces generously with salt, cayenne and black pepper.
In a heavy, iron pot, put enough oil to cover the bottom of the pot.
Over moderately high heat, brown the chicken pieces. Remove and set aside.
