Chocolate Cherry Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. (2 layer size) fudge cake mix
    1 (21 oz.) can Thank You cherry pie filling
    1 tsp. almond extract
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 c. sugar
    5 Tbsp. margarine
    1/3 c. milk
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    In a large bowl, combine cake mix, pie filling, extract and eggs.
    By hand, stir until well mixed.
    Pour into greased and floured 10 x 15-inch pan.
    Bake 30 minutes.
    In small saucepan, combine sugar, butter and milk.
    Boil for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
    Remove from heat, stir in chocolate pieces until smooth.
    Pour over still warm bars.
