No-Milk Parker House Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. oil
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 pkg. yeast*
    1 1/2 c. lukewarm water
    3 1/2 c. sifted flour
    1 egg, well beaten
    melted butter
Preparation
    Add oil, salt, sugar and yeast to water.
    Stir in flour; cover and set in warm place to rise.
    When doubled in bulk, add egg. Knead lightly and let rise again.
    Roll out 1/2 inch thick.
    Cut with 2-inch cutter.
    Crease in center with dull knife.
    Brush with melted butter and fold over, pinching at sides.
