Kolachy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. oleo, softened
    3 oz. cream cheese, softened
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. flour
    6 tsp. no-sugar fruit spread*
    1 egg
    1 tsp. cold water
Preparation
    Combine oleo and cream cheese; beat until smooth and creamy. Add vanilla.
    Mix in flour and salt, mixing to a soft dough. Divide in half; wrap in plastic wrap and chill until firm.
    Roll out dough to 1/8 inch and cut into squares about 2 inches.
    Spoon 1/2 tsp. of fruit spread onto each square; fold 2 corners to middle.
    *Note:
    All fruit spreads are good, or poppy seed filling can be used, also apricot.
    Beat egg with water; brush edges before folding; pinch to seal.
    Bake 12 minutes or until golden brown in a 375\u00b0 oven.
