Blackberry Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. self-rising flour
    3 Tbsp. shortening
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. milk
    1/2 stick butter
    2 c. blackberries
    3/4 c. sugar
    3/4 c. water
Preparation
    Mix together flour, shortening, 1/2 cup sugar and milk and place in bottom of a
    greased 8 or 9-inch pan.
    Mix together butter, blackberries, 3/4 cup sugar and 3/4 cup water and pour over dough.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Other fruit may be substituted for blackberries.
