Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (2 lb.) pkg. hash brown potatoes
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1 c. sour cream
    1 stick margarine, melted
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
    1 can Durkee fried onions
Preparation
    Crumble hash browns.
    Add all ingredients, except fried onions.
    Place in a casserole dish and bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 hour. During the last few minutes of cooking time, pour the fried onions on the top.
