Mamma'S Scrambled Hamburger - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    1 medium onion, chopped fine
    1 tsp. vinegar
    1 Tbsp. A.1. sauce
    1 (10 1/2 oz.) can tomato puree
    1/4 c. water
    salt to taste
Preparation
    Combine water and onion and cook until tender.
    Add beef and vinegar and cook until beef changes color. Pour off excess fat. Add tomato puree, A.1. sauce and salt to taste.
    Stir well.
    Cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
    Cheese slices may be added.
