Shipwreck Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 onions
    2 medium potatoes
    1 lb. hamburger
    1/2 c. rice (uncooked)
    1 c. celery, diced
    1 c. carrots
    1 c. tomato soup
    1 c. boiling water
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Layer all but soup and water.
    Between each layer, sprinkle with salt and pepper.
    Mix tomato soup and boiling water.
    Pour over top of the layers.
    Bake in slow oven (250\u00b0 to 300\u00b0), covered, for 3 to 4 hours.
    Serves 5.
