Gooey Hot Fudge Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. chocolate chips
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 c. half and half
    1 Tbsp. corn syrup
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Melt chocolate, butter, half and half, corn syrup and salt in a heavy 2-quart saucepan, stirring until smooth.
    Remove from heat. Let stand 10 minutes.
    Stir in vanilla.
    Serve warm or pour into clean glass jar and seal tightly.
    Store up to 6 months in the refrigerator.
    Reheat before serving.
    Makes about 1 1/2 cups sauce.
