Chopped Liver Spread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. beef liver
    1 medium onion, chopped
    2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1/8 tsp. onion powder
    2 hard-boiled eggs, chopped
    1/4 tsp. salt
    boiling water
Preparation
    Saute onion in oil.
    Add liver.
    Cook until pink (do not brown).
    Cool.
    Combine all ingredients and grind through food grinder.
    Add enough boiling water to make fluffy and easy to spread.
