Fruit Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 1/2 oz.) pkg. vanilla pudding
    1 (20 oz.) can chunk pineapple, drained
    1 (21 oz.) can peaches, drained
    1 small can mandarin oranges, drained
    2 bananas, sliced
Preparation
    Cook pudding according to package directions, substituting fruit juice for milk.
    (Do not use mandarin orange juice; it's too tart.)
    Cool and add fruit (except bananas).
    Just before serving, add bananas.
    Garnish with maraschino cherries.
