Hot Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. shredded cabbage
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    1 egg
    1/4 c. vinegar
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    onion salt
    celery salt
Preparation
    Shred cabbage rather fine.
    Chop celery.
    Put in a saucepan and sprinkle with salt.
    Cover pan and place over a low heat; steam until very tender.
    Beat the egg; add the sugar, vinegar, salt, pepper, onion salt and celery salt and pour over the steamed cabbage.
    Heat for 5 minutes.
    Serve at once.
