Gingerbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. Flav-o-Rich butter
    2/3 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 c. dark molasses
    2 c. flour
    7/8 c. boiling water or buttermilk
    1 Tbsp. ginger
    1 tsp. cloves
    2 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add eggs, then dry ingredients.
    Sift alternately with the hot water.
    Pour into a well-greased pan and bake in a moderate oven at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes.
