Beef In Wine Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 lb. boneless beef chuck, cut in 1 1/2 to 2-inch cubes
    garlic powder
    2 cans (10 1/2 oz. each) condensed mushroom soup
    1 (1 3/8 oz.) envelope onion soup mix
    3/4 c. dry sherry
    1 (8 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, drained
    1 (20 oz.) bag frozen, sliced carrots
Preparation
    Sprinkle meat lightly with garlic powder.
    Put in heavy casserole or Dutch oven. Mix together remaining ingredients, except carrots, and pour over meat.
    Mix well.
