Corn Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. white flour
    3/4 c. cornmeal
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    4 Tbsp. sugar
    1 beaten egg
    1 c. milk
    4 Tbsp. melted shortening
Preparation
    Add dry ingredients.
    Combine beaten egg, milk and shortening. Pour into dry ingredients.
    Stir, do not beat, until moistened. Fill muffin cups 3/4 full.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
