Beef Kabobs Provencal - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. beef sirloin steak, cut 1-inch thick *
1/4 c. dry red wine
2 Tbsp. minced onion
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 Tbsp. olive oil or salad oil
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tsp. basil leaves
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. thyme leaves
1 small green pepper, cut into 6 pieces
6 medium mushrooms
Preparation

Trim outside fat from steak and cut into 1-inch cubes. Combine wine, onion, oil, lemon juice, garlic, basil, sugar, salt, thyme and pepper.
Place beef cubes and marinade in plastic bag or utility dish, turning to coat meat.
Tie bag securely or cover dish and marinate in refrigerator for 6 to 8 hours (or overnight).
