Fried Okra - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    fresh okra
    cornmeal
    flour
    salt and pepper
    bacon grease
Preparation
    Use tender, young pods.
    Slice about 1/8-inch to 1/4-inch thick.
    Use 2 parts cornmeal and 1 part flour to bread okra.
    Put in bag; add sliced okra and shake until coated.
    Fry in bacon grease until golden brown, turning often so it will not burn.
    Salt and pepper to taste.
