Refrigerator Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    7 c. unpeeled thin sliced cucumbers
    1 large onion, sliced thin
    1 c. cider vinegar
    2 c. white sugar
    2 Tbsp. salt
    1 tsp. celery seed (whole)
Preparation
    Heat vinegar, sugar, salt and celery seed to a boil.
    Cool, then pour over the pickles and onions.
    Stir well and put into container with lid on it at all times and keep it in the refrigerator until all are used.
