Empanadas(Servings: 4) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks (1/2 lb.) butter
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    2 c. flour
    jam
    2 c. heavy cream, chilled
    1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
    3 1/2 Tbsp. confectioners sugar, sifted
    3 egg whites, room temperature, at least a week old (3 = 1/2 c., can be frozen)
    pinch of salt
    3/4 c. granulated sugar
    1 recipe Praline or Corinthe
    1 to 1 1/2 tsp. powdered coffee (For Praline surprise only)
Preparation
    You will also need a 2-quart charlotte mold or bowl.
