London Broil - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. olive oil
    1/4 c. vinegar
    1/4 c. lemon juice
    1 bay leaf, crushed
    1 clove garlic, crushed
    1 medium onion, thinly sliced
    1/2 tsp. oregano
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. salt
    2 1/2 lb. beef round steak, 1 1/2-inches thick
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients together.
    Place meat in a large baking dish and pour the mixture over meat.
    Cover and let stand at room temperature for 4 hours, turning the meat occasionally.
    Remove the meat from marinade and drain well.
    Heat a large skillet over moderately high heat (375\u00b0).
    Sprinkle pan with a small amount of salt and brown meat 5 to 6 minutes on each side.
    Reduce heat to medium low (225\u00b0).
    Cook ten minutes or to the degree of desired doneness.
    Cut diagonal slices across grain.
