Strawberry Salad Mold - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry jello
    1 c. boiling water
    1 c. coarsely chopped walnuts
    3 medium bananas, cut fine
    1 pt. sour cream
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries, thawed
    1 (60 oz.) can crushed pineapple, very well drained
Preparation
    First, combine jello with boiling water, stirring until dissolved.
    Second, fold in all at once the thawed strawberries with the juice, the well drained pineapple, the bananas and walnuts.
    Third, turn half of mixture into dish.
    When firm, spread with sour cream, using the whole pint.
    Then add the other half of the fruit jello mixture, that has been slightly thickened. Set until firm.
    Serve on lettuce.
    Use a 9 x 13-inch pan.
