Bittersweet Chocolate Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 oz. bittersweet chocolate or semi-sweet chocolate, cut up
    2 Tbsp. margarine or butter
    1 1/4 c. milk
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. corn syrup
Preparation
    In a heavy, medium saucepan melt chocolate and margarine or butter over low heat until melted, stirring frequently.
    Add milk, sugar and corn syrup.
    Bring to a gentle boil over medium heat. Boil gently, stirring frequently for 8 minutes or until mixture is thickened.
    Remove from heat.
    Cool slightly.
    Serve warm.
    To store, cover tightly and refrigerate for up to 1 week.
    Makes 1 cup.
