Devils Food Cake With Soft Chocolate Icing - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c flour
1/2 c cocoa
1 tsp soda
1/2 tsp salt
2/3 c crisco
1 1/2 c sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 c buttermilk
1/2 c boiling water

Preparation

Cream together sugar and shortening then add eggs and vanilla and stir well.
Then add flour, cocoa, soda, salt, and buttermilk and boiling water.
Bake in sheet pan 350 degrees until done.
