Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or margarine
    1/2 c. shortening
    3 c. sugar
    5 eggs
    3 c. plain flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. milk
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cream the butter and shortening. Add sugar.
    Beat eggs and add.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Make sure to add the milk before the flour. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Reduce heat to 325\u00b0, then bake 30 minutes longer.
