Old-Fashioned Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 potatoes, cubed
    1 qt. milk
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 c. flour
    1 egg, well beaten
    1/4 c. milk
Preparation
    Boil potatoes until soft and drain.
    Add milk and beat thoroughly; season to taste.
    Work butter into flour; add egg and milk.
    Drop by teaspoon into hot milk.
    Cover saucepan and cook about 10 minutes.
    Serve at once.
