Not Too Sweet Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter
    1/2 c. sugar or a little less
    1 c. dark Karo syrup
    3 eggs
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. pecan halves or 1 1/2 c. pecans, chopped coarse
Preparation
    Cream butter to soften.
    Add sugar.
    Beat until creamy and fluffy.
    Add syrup and salt.
    Beat well.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each one.
    Stir in pecans.
    Bake in a 9-inch pie shell at 350\u00b0 for 50 minutes or until a toothpick is clean.
