Potato Fritters - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. peeled potatoes
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. butter
    1 1/2 c. flour
    salt
    1 1/2 c. oil
Preparation
    Boil the potatoes; peel them and put through a sieve or mash while still hot.
    Add eggs, butter, flour and salt.
    Knead.
    Flour the board well.
    Roll out until 5/8-inch thick.
    With a small cookie cutter (which should be dipped into flour after each use), cut rounds and fry them in hot oil.
    Serve with some sauce. Serves 6 to 8.
