Fruit Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large carton whipped topping
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 family size pkg. instant vanilla pudding
    1 (16 oz.) can fruit cocktail
    1 (16 oz.) can chunk pineapple
    1 large can mandarin oranges
    1 jar cherries
    1/2 c. coconut
    1 c. pecans
Preparation
    Mix first 3 ingredients well.
    Drain and add next 4 ingredients to mixture.
    Add coconut and pecans; mix thoroughly. Chill overnight.
