Poached Cod With Mushroom Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 tsp. margarine or butter
1/2 c. sliced fresh mushrooms
1/8 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
3 Tbsp. dry white wine (can use water)
1 Tbsp. water
8 oz. pkg. frozen cod fillets (sole or flounder)
1 tsp. cornstarch
1/4 c. skim milk
1 thinly sliced green onion
Preparation

In large nonstick skillet, cook
mushrooms in margarine over medium-high heat until tender, stirring occasionally.
Stir in salt, pepper, wine and water.
Gently add frozen fillets to skillet; cover.
Cook over medium-high heat for 6 to 8 minutes or until fish flakes easily with fork.
Turn fillets once during cooking.
Remove fillets to serving platter.
Keep warm.
