Ropa Vieja - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. flank steak
    1 small onion
    1 small pepper
    2 plugs garlic
    1 can tomato sauce
    1 bay leaf
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Boil meat in 1 cup water with bay leaf.
    When tender, put aside until cooled.
    Saute garlic, onion and pepper.
    Add tomato sauce.
    Simmer half hour.
    Shred meat into strings and put into tomato mixture.
    Add water from meat.
    Cool half hour more.
    Add salt and pepper.
    Serve with white rice.
