Corn Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. cornmeal
1/2 c. self-rising flour
1 egg
1 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 c. Cheddar cheese
1 c. milk
1/4 c. oil
Preparation

In medium bowl, beat egg; add meal, flour, sugar, cheese, milk and set aside.
Preheat oven to 450\u00b0 with 1/4 cup oil in iron skillet.
After preheat is ready, pour oil in bowl of meal mixture.
Mix fast and well.
Sprinkle cornmeal in bottom of skillet to keep from sticking.
Then pour mixture into skillet and bake about 30 minutes or until golden brown and sides leave skillet.
