Raw Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. mace
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 c. nuts, chopped
2 c. raw apples, shredded

Preparation

Grease a 9 X 9 pan.
Cream shortening and sugar together; add eggs and apples.
Sift in dry ingredients.
Add nuts.
Bake 45 minutes at 350\u00b0.
Double the recipe for a 9 X 13 pan and bake for a longer time.
