"Old Timey" Hot Chocolate - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 oz. unsweetened chocolate
    1 1/2 c. water
    1/3 c. sugar
    dash of salt
    4 1/2 c. whole milk
Preparation
    Heat chocolate and water in a 1 1/2-quart saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly, until chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth.
    Stir in sugar and salt.
    Heat to boiling; reduce heat. Simmer, uncovered, 4 minutes, stirring constantly.
    Stir in milk. Heat just until hot (do not boil).
    Beat with hand beater until foamy or stir until smooth.
    Serve immediately.
    Serves about 6 (1 cup each).
