Summertime Slush - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 oz. pkg. any red fruit-flavored gelatin
    1 c. boiling water
    3 c. cold water
    2 c. cranberry juice cocktail
    12 oz. can thawed frozen lemonade concentrate
    12 oz. can thawed frozen orange juice concentrate
    lemon-lime flavored carbonated beverage, chilled
Preparation
    Dissolve gelatin in boiling water.
    In nonmetal freezer container, combine dissolved gelatin with remaining ingredients except carbonated beverage; cover.
    Freeze until slush consistency, about 8 hours or overnight.
    To serve, spoon about 1/2 cup slush into serving glass.
    Fill with carbonated beverage. Add vodka or gin, if desired.
    Serves 20.
