Butter Crumshus Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3/4 c. butter
2 1/2 c. sifted flour
1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 1/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. nuts (if desired)

Preparation

Grease bottom of 13 x 9-inch pan.
Cut 1/4 cup butter into 1/2 cup flour and brown sugar to make a crumb mixture.
