Herb Stuffed Pork Chops - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 thick pork chops, cut to form pocket
2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
3 Tbsp. butter
3/4 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. chopped celery
1 1/2 c. bread cubes
1/2 c. parsley
1 small can evaporated milk
2 Tbsp. shortening
3/4 c. dry white wine
Preparation

Rub pork chops inside and out with salt and pepper.
Heat butter in a skillet to saute onion and celery.
Remove from skillet; add bread, parsley and milk to onions and celery.
Stuff pork chops with mixture and close with toothpicks.
Heat shortening in skillet and brown on both sides.
Place pork chops in a slow cooker and add wine.
Cook on low heat 8 to 10 hours.
