Monkey Cake - cooking recipe

1 1/2 sticks butter
1 c. sugar
3/4 c. sugar
2 1/2 Tbsp. cinnamon
4 pkg. Pillsbury buttermilk biscuits
Preparation

Melt butter and sugar.
Mix together sugar and cinnamon in a plastic bag.
Cut each pack of biscuits into 4 pieces.
Put about 12 squares of biscuits into plastic bag with sugar mixture and shake to coat.
Grease tube or Bundt cake pan.
Put a layer of biscuits in the bottom of pan and pack tight.
Drizzle on some melted butter mixture.
Sprinkle on nuts or raisins.
Continue layers, ending with butter mixture.
Bake 45 minutes at 350\u00b0.
