Elephant Ears - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 pkg. frozen puff pastry sheets, thawed
Preparation
    Sprinkle work surface with sugar.
    Place sheet of thawed puff pastry on sugar; sprinkle 1 tablespoon sugar over puff pastry sheet.
    Roll to 14 x 10-inch rectangle; press in as much sugar as possible.
    Fold long side of dough to center.
    Fold dough crosswise in half to make rectangle.
    Fold dough lengthwise in half to make 7 x 2 1/2-inch rectangle.
    Wrap in plastic wrap; chill in freezer 15 minutes.
    Repeat with remaining puff pastry.
